Cream of Wheaton runs June 4–7 at Memorial Park — four days, free admission, live music every night. The carnival moved to a new spot this year: Parking Lot 9 at Liberty Dr. and Carlton Ave. The lineup includes Libido Funk Circus, The Throwbacks, Common Area Maintenance, Nite Hawks, and a dozen more acts. Beer garden, kids' activities Saturday and Sunday, arts and crafts fair all weekend.
Why it matters
If you're planning to hit the French Market on Saturday June 6, check the city calendar first — the market location may shift that weekend due to the festival. Otherwise just plan to be downtown Thursday through Sunday.
